Our client is a well-established Firm situated in Galway, currently in search of a Practice Accountant to strengthen their team. They are seeking an accomplished Practice Accountant with a solid background in Practice. The successful Practice Accountant will be an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual possessing outstanding organizational and technical aptitude. This is a great opportunity as the firm has a broad client base nationally and internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Compilation and finalization of audit files
- Direct reporting to partners and managers on audit-related matters
- Mentorship and oversight of audit staff
- Cultivation of enduring relationships with audit clients
- Adherence to audit budgets
- Occasional additional duties may encompass:
- Preparing exempt accounts for audit
- Crafting monthly management accounts
- Formulating income tax and corporation tax computations and submissions
- Facilitating communication with the Revenue during client audits and engaging with Revenue inspectors to resolve matters.
- Contributing to one-time projects such as aiding company restructuring, generating due diligence reports, and constructing financial analysis reports
Requirements:
- Certified Accountant with ACA/ACCA/CPA certification.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience, with a strong emphasis on management accounting and technology.
- Proficiency in accounting software packages like Relate, MicroPay, Surf, Receipt Bank, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or analogous platforms.
