Our Client is a well-established Dublin-based firm of Accountants, with a remarkable 40-year history of providing comprehensive business advice to a diverse clientele. Renowned for their specialization in the hospitality, tourism, and leisure sectors, they have garnered a reputation as leaders in advising the Licenced Trade. This is an excellent opportunity for a Chartered Accountant to join the practice at an exciting stage.

 

Role

  • Collaborate with the team to strategize audits and accounting assignments.
  • Execute tasks in line with audit and assignment protocols.
  • Develop a holistic understanding of clients’ business landscapes.
  • Identify and address issues in consultation with managers, offering effective solutions.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff members.
  • Oversee, assign, monitor, and review tasks performed by junior staff.
  • Regularly update the manager on project progress.
  • Manage multiple assignments concurrently.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified ACCA/ACA/CPA
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Small/Medium Accountancy firm
  • Proven experience in audit and accounting within professional service firms.
  • Technical proficiency in advising on complex client projects.
  • Strong familiarity with accounting and auditing standards.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Preferred experience with accounting and auditing software.
