Our client, a firm with four partners that specializes in Audit, Tax, and Advisory services, is actively seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their vibrant team in Cork. This role holds significant importance within the team, involving active participation in audits and working closely with clients to deliver comprehensive solutions. Beyond handling audit matters, this position also offers the chance to engage with various facets of financial functions, making it a diverse and multifaceted role.
Role:
- Schedule and organize audit activities.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information for resolving queries.
- Investigate and propose solutions for all audit-related issues.
- Prepare reports outlining identified problems and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with senior personnel, including directors and partners, to complete the audit process.
- Participate in mentoring and fostering the development of junior staff.
Requirements:
- Hold a professional qualification such as ACCA or ACA, with 1 to 2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience working with audit clients of various sizes across diverse industries.
- Proficiency in audit processes and methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivation, adaptability, and multitasking capabilities.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary range: €45,000 – €55,000.
