Our client is a well-established 4 partner firm based in North Dublin. They are seeking a skilled and motivated Audit Manager to join their client service team. This pivotal role involves overseeing a diverse client portfolio, managing client engagements, and fostering robust relationships with both internal colleagues and external clients. As an Audit Manager, you will contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the practice.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assisting in the strategic planning of audits, including resource allocation and deadlines.
- Participating in client audit planning meetings.
- Preparing accurate financial statements and maintaining high-quality work papers.
- Directing, supervising, and reviewing the activities of the audit team.
- Delegating tasks and providing on-the-job training to team members.
- Ensuring the completion of audit files and assignments.
- Providing constructive performance feedback to trainees at the conclusion of engagements.
- Applying analytical thinking and professional scepticism throughout the audit process.
Requirements
- Qualified ACCA, ACA, or CPA professional is desirable.
- Current experience within a practice environment.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide guidance and training to colleagues.
- Sound technical expertise.
- Dedicated to maintaining high standards of professionalism and client service.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel.
Salary & Benefits
