Audit & Accounts Senior

Our client is a leading Accountancy practice in Ireland, with offices spread out across the country. We are seeking an audit and Accounts senior to strengthen our existing audit team and this role would be suitable for an ambitious and motivated professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and would enjoy a hands-on role.

Role

• The management of and involvement with a team involved in the provision of assurance services to a portfolio of clients across various sectors.
• The review, design, development, implementation and management of audit schedules, programmes, plans and assignments.
• The preparation and development of audit plans and schedules and the management of assignments.
• Reviewing the work of audit trainees to develop their skill sets and delivery of completed files for director review.
• Liaising with directors in the appraisal of firms’ objectives and delivery of client services.
• Thinking strategically about clients’ needs
• Responsible for assisting the directors with managing a portfolio of clients.
• Participation in ongoing business development activities

Requirements

• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an assurance / advisory / professional services environment preferably in a medium-sized to large audit department or practice
• You will have strong technical knowledge, e.g., UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS and ISAs
• Proven ability to manage and lead teams.
• Ability to handle numerous simultaneous assignments.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Knowledge of CCH is desirable.

Salary & Benefits
