Our client is a leading accountancy practice in Ireland, with offices spread throughout the country. We are searching for an Audit and Accounts Senior to enhance our current audit team. This position is suitable for an ambitious and motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and appreciates a hands-on role.
Role
- Managing and participating in a team that provides assurance services to a portfolio of clients spanning various sectors.
- Reviewing, designing, developing, implementing, and managing audit schedules, programs, plans, and assignments.
- Creating and refining audit plans and schedules while overseeing assignments.
- Assessing the work of audit trainees to enhance their skills and delivering completed files for director review.
- Collaborating with directors to evaluate firm objectives and deliver client services.
- Strategic thinking concerning client needs.
- Assisting directors in managing a client portfolio.
- Involvement in ongoing business development activities.
Requirements
- Possession of professional qualifications such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in practice.
- Strong technical knowledge, including Irish/UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS, and ISAs.
- Familiarity with CCH is advantageous.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary range: €45,000 – €55,000 DOE.
