GPC Finance is delighted to collaborate with a forward-thinking accounting firm located in Meath. With over three decades of experience, this well-established practice offers top-notch chartered accountancy services to its extensive client base. Currently, they are in search of a Part Qualified Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will work closely with the team, delivering a wide range of accounting services to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review annual financial statements.
- Perform accounts preparation tasks, including reconciling balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts.
- Ensure prompt delivery of financial statements.
- Support the preparation of year-end audits.
- Assist in closing out the year and handling year-end journal activities.
- Prepare tax returns for companies and individuals.
- Fulfil requirements for completing statutory returns.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with clients.
- Aid the manager in handling special assignments for clients.
Requirements:
- Part Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a practice.
- Proficiency with Sage, CCH Accounts, and MS Office is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication, customer care, and people management skills.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: €27,000 – €32,000 (dependent on experience).
