Our client is seeking a Trainee Accountant to join their medium sized practice in Dublin. This is a full-time training contract designed for a graduate with a 2.1 or higher in a Level 8 degree who is looking to pursue their accounting qualifications. The successful Trainee Accountant will gain exposure across audit, bookkeeping, tax, and general accounts preparation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in audits of small companies
- Support with general bookkeeping duties
- Prepare tax returns in line with compliance deadlines
- Help with the preparation of annual accounts for a range of clients
- Provide general accounting and administrative support as required
- Attend training sessions and learn directly from FAE students and senior staff
Requirements
- Level 8 degree (minimum 2.1) in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Intention to pursue ACA, ACCA or CTA qualification (training contract provided)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A willingness to learn, take initiative, and work well as part of a team
