My Client is seeking a highly motivated Tax Trainee to join their team of highly qualified professionals. The successful candidate will gain hands on, practical experience through daily client interactions and mentoring by an experienced team, ensuring you achieve all your training goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ad-hoc input into compliance and advisory matters relating to all other tax heads including VAT, PAYE/PRSI, Capital Gains Tax, CAT, Stamp Duty, etc.
- Assist in managing the compliance requirements of the firm’s corporate and income tax clients, ensuring payment and return filing deadlines are met.
- Preparation and filing of tax returns in relation to corporation tax and income tax.
- Liaising with Revenue in respect of client matters.
Ideal Candidate:
- You have started or planning to work towards CTA
- Capability to work efficiently under time pressures.
- Experience working in tax in a practice environment is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Good systems and analytical skills (Excel proficiency is an advantage).
Salary & Package:
- Salary €28k-€32k DOE
- Full study package
