Tax Senior
Our client in Co. Meath is seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join their expanding practice. Operating across multiple locations throughout Ireland, this firm offers an excellent opportunity for a Tax Senior to work closely with a Tax Partner as part of a collaborative and growing tax team. The successful Tax Senior will be involved in a varied mix of tax compliance and advisory work, gaining exposure across all areas of taxation while developing technical expertise and advancing their career within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax returns across a range of tax heads while supporting tax compliance and advisory assignments.
- Carry out tax research and assist in developing tax planning solutions for individuals, companies, partnerships, and other client structures.
- Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance on workflow, technical queries, and ongoing training.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for assigned clients while supporting business development initiatives.
- Work alongside senior tax professionals to deliver high-quality tax services and ensure excellent client outcomes as a Tax Senior.
Requirements:
- Qualified Tax Advisor (CTA) qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Irish practice environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of Irish tax legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with SME and owner-managed business clients.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Previous experience in a Tax Senior role or a similar tax position is highly advantageous.
