Tax Manager
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Manager to join a well-established accountancy practice in Co. Meath. With multiple offices across Ireland, this firm offers an excellent environment for a Tax Manager to work closely with the Tax Partner as part of a collaborative and expanding tax team. The successful Tax Manager will manage a varied portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients, gaining exposure to a wide range of tax compliance and advisory assignments while benefiting from outstanding career progression opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients.
- Lead, mentor, and support the tax team by overseeing workflow, resolving technical queries, and encouraging staff development.
- Work closely with the Tax Partner on client engagements, tax planning projects, and client meetings.
- Oversee departmental work in progress (WIP) and billing while maintaining strong client relationships and supporting business development initiatives.
- Deliver high-quality tax solutions and contribute to the continued growth of the practice as a Tax Manager.
Requirements:
- Qualified Tax Advisor (CTA) qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of Irish tax legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with SME and owner-managed business clients.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Previous experience in a Tax Manager role within an Irish practice is highly desirable.
