ur client is seeking to recruit an experienced Tax Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated tax professional with over five years of experience in tax, including at least one year in a managerial role. The successful Tax Manager will have a strong background in corporate and personal tax compliance and advisory services for both domestic and international clients. This role involves managing a team, overseeing tax compliance and advisory projects, and working closely with clients across various industries.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage corporation tax compliance for large multinational clients, including the preparation and review of tax computations, group relief calculations, and filing with Revenue.
- Advise clients on tax-efficient structuring, group reorganisations, share option schemes, asset transfers, and cross-border transactions.
- Prepare and review personal tax returns, capital gains tax calculations, and provide guidance on succession planning.
- Assist in Revenue audits and interventions for corporate and private clients.
- Work closely with international tax teams on cross-border tax compliance and advisory matters.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
- Oversee client billing, invoicing, and adherence to risk management procedures.
Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA).
- Minimum of five years’ experience in tax, with at least one year in a managerial role.
- Strong technical knowledge of Irish tax legislation, compliance, and advisory work.
- Experience managing tax projects for corporate and private clients across multiple industries.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience mentoring and managing a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Alphatax, PTM, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams), and SAP for billing and time management.
