Our client is a medium-sized accountancy practice in Dublin, currently seeking a Tax Manager to head up their tax department. The successful Tax Manager will be leading the Tax Compliance and Tax Advisory team on a diverse and interesting portfolio of clients which operate across a broad range of sectors.
Responsibilities
- Management and Growth of the Tax Department in the firm
- Planning, organising and controlling the completion of tax compliance.
- Providing intelligent and creative solutions to client tax issues both reactively and proactively and presenting solutions to complex technical issues.
- Assist with planning staffing allocation and deadlines.
- Develop close client relationships, understand their business and play a part in winning new work
Requirements
- The successful Tax Manager will be ACCA/ACA/CPA Qualified.
- Minnimum 6 years of Tax experience within an Irish practice.
- Strong technical knowledge and proven ability to identify opportunities for clients.
- Display commitment, effort, motivation, and initiative in all business dealings.
- Experience in managing and leading a team of qualified professionals
- CTA qualifications are desirable but not required.
