Our client based in Cork is seeking a Tax Director to join their growing practice. This well-respected practice is searching for a strategic, analytical, and highly motivated Tax Director to oversee a vast portfolio of clients. Working closely with the Tax Partner, this role will be quite varied, providing a well-rounded and rewarding experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of SME clients, providing strategic tax advice and ensuring the delivery of high-quality tax services across a range of sectors.
- Drive complex tax advisory and transaction projects, working closely with clients to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and support business growth objectives.
- Collaborate with partners and multidisciplinary teams across the firm to deliver integrated client solutions and enhance the overall client experience.
- Support the growth and development of the tax practice by identifying new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to the expansion of tax services across Cork and the wider Republic of Ireland.
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA) and AITI/CTA or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years PQE in Irish practice
- Advanced knowledge of tax accounting, audit processes, and tax law.
- High motivation and a friendly demeanour for effective engagement with colleagues, external advisors, and key stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Salary of €95k-€115k DOE
