A well-established accountancy practice in South Dublin is seeking a qualified accountant to join the team on a full-time basis. The firm has been operating for over 35 years and has recently undergone significant changes in management and staffing. Due to a substantial increase in workload across all areas of practice, we are looking for an experienced professional to support our growing client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts preparation for both audit and audit-exempt clients.
- Support audit assignments, both in-house and at client premises.
- Prepare tax returns, including VAT, Corporation Tax, and Income Tax.
- Manage payroll clients as required.
- Liaise with partners on client assignments and oversee a portfolio of clients.
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA).
- Minimum 1 years PQE in a practice environment preferred, but candidates from industry will also be considered.
- Newly qualified candidates will also be considered.
- Some experience with Corporate and Income Tax returns is beneficial but not essential.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
- Experience with accounts preparation software is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive salary, €55,000 – €65,000 (Negotiable dependent on experience.)
