Our client is a growing and forward-thinking accountancy firm based in South Dublin. Due to ongoing expansion, they are seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join their Tax Compliance and Advisory team.
The successful candidate will work with a diverse and interesting client portfolio spanning a wide range of industries. This is a great opportunity for a tax professional looking to advance their career in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organise, and manage the completion of tax compliance engagements
- Support the development and implementation of tax planning strategies
- Assist with resource planning, staffing allocation, and deadline management
- Attend client meetings and build strong client relationships
- Supervise, delegate, and review the work of junior staff
- Provide on-the-job training and support to team members
- Assist clients with Revenue audits, negotiations, and settlement planning
Requirements:
- ACCA / ACA / CPA qualified – working towards CTA is beneficial.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a tax role within a practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge across Irish tax heads
- Ability to identify tax planning opportunities and add value to clients
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with strong initiative and a collaborative mindset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive salary: €60,000 – €65,000, depending on experience
