Senior Accountant
Our client, a well-established medium-sized accountancy practice based in Dublin, is looking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in accounts preparation who is looking to take the next step in their career. The successful Senior Accountant will manage a varied client portfolio, mentor junior team members, and deliver a high standard of client service. Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements for submission to the Companies Registration Office (CRO) along with sole trader and partnership accounts for Revenue.
- Manage a portfolio of SME clients, acting as the main point of contact and providing day-to-day business advice.
- Liaise with the Tax Department to ensure Income Tax and Corporation Tax returns are completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Build strong client relationships while mentoring and supporting junior team members as a Senior Accountant.
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience in an accountancy practice.
- Strong accounts preparation experience with the ability to manage multiple client deadlines.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills, including experience dealing with clients remotely and in person.
- Previous experience mentoring junior staff and managing client relationships is an advantage for a Senior Accountant.

- Salary of €60,000–€70,000, depending on experience, plus an annual performance-related bonus.
