GPC Finance are delighted to partner with a Top 10 Accounting firm who is looking to hire a Senior Accountant for their office in Kilkenny. Due to organic growth our client is looking for an ambitious and successful Senior Accountant. In this role you will become a key member of the team reporting directly to the partner.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the growth and development of the practice.
- Training and mentorship of junior staff.
- Management of a portfolio of clients from sole traders, partnerships, and companies.
- Review the financial accounts and tax computations for clients.
- Co-ordination and completion of the annual audit process, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met as scheduled.
- Successful implementation of all relevant systems, policies, process and controls and responsibility for ensuring compliance with same.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant CPA/ACCA/ACA
- 3+ years of experience in a Practice firm.
- Strong attention to detail and technical knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to successfully manage deadlines and teams.
- Commercial awareness and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Passion for helping businesses achieve their potential.
