Our client in North Dublin is seeking a senior accountant to join their busy accountancy practice. This is a strong opportunity for a senior accountant with at least three years’ experience who enjoys a varied client portfolio and end‑to‑end ownership of accounts preparation. The ideal candidate will be a proactive senior accountant who is comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Preparing audit‑exempt statutory accounts and abridged accounts from trial balance.
- Preparing working paper files and supporting schedules to a high standard.
- Preparing partnership and sole trader accounts across a diverse client base.
- Managing a wide range of clients, from sole traders to large audit‑exempt companies.
Requirements
- ACA / ACCA or CPA qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a practice environment.
- Strong technical grounding and the confidence expected of a senior accountant.
- Ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple client files.
- Excellent communication skills and a client‑focused mindset.
