Key Responsibilities
- Develop, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with a diverse client base, acting as a trusted advisor on their financial and business needs.
- Oversee accounting functions, including the preparation of financial statements in compliance with FRS102 and IFRS. Handle corporation tax and income tax filings with accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure the timely preparation, completion, and submission of financial statements to Revenue and the Companies Registration Office (CRO).
- Conduct thorough file reviews to ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant, and properly maintained.
- Lead, train, and support junior accountants, fostering their professional development and ensuring high-quality performance.
- Identify and address client challenges with tailored, effective solutions, enhancing client satisfaction and business outcomes.
Key Requirements
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CPA) with substantial post-qualification experience.
- Demonstrable experience working in an accountancy practice, preferably with exposure to managing client portfolios.
- Strong technical knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS standards.
- A commercially minded approach, with the ability to understand and anticipate client needs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with both clients and internal teams.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and mentor junior team members effectively.
