GPC Finance is working with an established firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors located in South Dublin. They are a progressive firm, bringing hands-on, partner led commercial experience to every client. They are currently in search of a Practice Accountant to join their team. If you are a proactive, self-driven individual, with exceptional organizational and technical skills, this could be the next role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts and year-end statutory accounts that are not audited.
- Manage internal administrative tasks, including timesheets and invoicing.
- Assist clients in establishing financial control systems and ensure compliance with company secretarial requirements.
- Provide guidance to clients in adopting best practices through technology to enhance efficiency and facilitate growth.
- Contribute to the firm’s accounting technology strategy and oversee the implementation of new accounting solutions.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CPA Qualified Accountant.
- Minimum 2+ years of practice experience.
- Ideally 1 year PQE experience.
- Familiarity with accounting software packages such as Relate, MicroPay, Surf, Receipt Bank, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar.
