An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Accountant to join a reputable accountancy firm in Cork city. This role is ideal for a proactive Qualified Accountant who enjoys building strong client relationships and managing diverse client portfolios and is keen to progress into the Tax space. The successful Qualified Accountant will play a key role in supporting both clients and internal teams through high-quality accounting and tax advisory work.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Handle a range of accounting, corporation tax, and income tax assignments.
- Assist in training and supporting junior accountants as a Qualified Accountant.
- Identify client needs and deliver effective, practical solutions.
Requirements
- ACA qualified, ideally operating at Qualified Accountant level.
- CTA qualification is beneficial but not essential. However, the successful candidate must be interested in pursuing this certification.
- 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience in a similar accounting role.
- Experience producing financial statements in line with current accounting standards.
- Good knowledge of FRS 102 and IFRS.
- Strong attention to detail with strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while remaining flexible and adaptable.
