Our client is seeking to recruit a meticulous and experienced part-time Bookkeeper to join our team. Our client is a dynamic and growing company based in Maynooth, with a mission to provide the most unique and relaxing dining experience in the area.
Role:
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage invoices and process payments.
- Handle queries related to financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes.
- Provide support during audits.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Accounting Technician or IPASS (Irish Payroll Association) certification.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive salary based on experience – €35,000 – €40,000 (pro rata)

This is a part time role of 22.5hrs per week, salary is based on pro rata hours
