GPC Finance is thrilled to be working with a reputable accounting practice located in Cork, recognised for its commitment to client service, professional excellence, and employee development. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a dedicated Part-Qualified Accountant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements, management accounts, and other client deliverables as required.
- Collaborate with senior team members in planning and executing audit engagements, including conducting tests and providing recommendations.
- Support senior team members in providing advisory services, including business planning, financial forecasting, and regulatory compliance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring timely communication and delivering exceptional service.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through training, professional development opportunities, and staying abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes.
Ideal Candidate:
- Currently pursuing a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in a practice setting.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
