Our client, a well‑established Dublin‑based practice, is seeking a Part‑Qualified Tax Associate to join their growing tax team. Reporting directly to both the Tax Director and Tax Manager, this role offers excellent exposure across all tax heads and the opportunity to develop strong technical and advisory skills within a supportive and collaborative environment.

This position is ideal for a motivated individual who has already gained at least one year of tax experience in an Irish practice and is now looking to progress their tax career while continuing their professional studies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare tax returns across all tax heads, including Income Tax, Corporation Tax, CGT, CAT, and VAT.
  • Assist with researching and interpreting Irish tax legislation and Revenue guidance.
  • Support the preparation of tax advisory reports and assist senior team members with client queries.
  • Communicate with clients and Revenue, helping to build your advisory and client‑facing skills.
  • Contribute to the smooth delivery of compliance services across a varied client portfolio.

Requirements

  • Part‑Qualified CTA, Qualified Tax Technician, or currently pursuing CTA qualification.
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in an Irish practice environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and organisational abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive team player with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office.

  • Salary: €32,500 – €37,000 DOE.
