Our client, a medium-sized accounting practice in Cork, is seeking a Part-Qualified Accountant to join their growing team. This role offers excellent exposure to a wide range of clients and industries, with strong opportunities for career development in a supportive and professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and companies.
- Assist with tax compliance including VAT, PAYE, and income/corporation tax returns.
- Support bookkeeping, management accounts, and audit assignments.
- Liaise with clients to gather information and meet deadlines.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the practice.
- Build technical knowledge through exams and on-the-job learning.
Requirements
- Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA).
- 2+ years’ practice experience.
- Strong Excel skills; experience with Sage, QuickBooks, or similar is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organisation.
- Proactive and eager to learn in a busy practice.
- Eligible to work in Ireland.
Salary & Benefits
- €35,000 – €40,000 DOE.
