GPC Finance are working with an established 3 partner chartered accountancy firm based in North Dublin. With an impressive database of clients, they have been providing quality chartered accountancy services for over 30 years. Exciting opportunity for a Part-Qualified Accountant to have access to a broad range of clients both in terms of audit, non-audit, sole trader etc. and in terms of industry/sector type.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of quality working paper files including Audit working papers
- Accounts preparation work to include balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of the management accounts
- Deliver of financial statements in line with agreed deadlines and ability to follow checklists, procedures and process requirements
- Assist with the preparation of year end audits
- Assist with year end close out and year end journals
- Preparation of company and personal tax returns
- Completing statutory returns
- Liaising with clients
- Assisting manager on special client assignments
Ideal Candidate:
- Part Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Minimum 1 plus years general accounting practice experience
- Results orientated
- Ability to communicate at a high level
- Excellent technical abilities
- Strong financial acumen and the ability to perform a hands-on role
- Excellent communication, customer care and people management skills
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Audit experience an advantage
- Excel (Intermediate/Advanced preferable)
