Our client, a well-established and growing accountancy practice based in South Dublin, is seeking a motivated and career-focused Part-Qualified Accountant to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional with a minimum of two years’ practice experience who is looking to further develop their technical skills and progress their accounting qualification within a supportive environment.

Working closely with experienced partners and senior professionals, you will gain invaluable hands-on experience across a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from owner-managed businesses and SMEs to larger established companies across a variety of industry sectors. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements for a diverse client portfolio.
  • Support the completion of audit assignments from planning through to completion.
  • Prepare management accounts and assist with bookkeeping and VAT compliance requirements.
  • Liaise directly with clients to obtain information and resolve queries in a professional manner.
  • Assist with corporation tax, income tax, and other compliance-related assignments.
  • Work closely with senior team members to ensure assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
  • Develop a strong understanding of clients’ businesses and provide practical support where required.
  • Manage multiple client assignments while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
  • Utilise accounting software and cloud-based systems to support client service delivery.
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative and team-oriented working environment.

Requirements

  • Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, CPA, or currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within an accountancy practice environment.
  • Experience assisting with accounts preparation, audit, and client service assignments.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proactive approach to learning and professional development.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Good IT skills with experience using accounting software and Microsoft Office.
  • A positive attitude and genuine interest in building a long-term career within practice.
