Responsibilities
- Prepare year-end non-audit company accounts and working papers up to review stage.
- Reconcile balance sheet items, including VAT, payroll, leases, hire purchases, and fixed assets.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of accounting principles and post journals to accounting software.
- Assist with the preparation of management accounts.
- Prepare statutory financial statements within agreed deadlines while following checklists, procedures, and processes.
- Support year-end close processes, including year-end journals.
- Prepare corporation tax returns.
- Confidently liaise with clients via phone and written correspondence.
- Assist managers on special client assignments.
Candidate Profile
- Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA).
- Minimum of 2+ years of practice accounting experience.
- Strong technical skills and financial acumen with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proactive and able to work on your own initiative.
