  • Oversee the preparation of:

    • Financial statements (non-audit)

    • Corporation tax compliance

    • Company secretarial filings

    • VAT and payroll returns

  • Manage workflows and delegate tasks across the non-audit team to ensure efficient and timely delivery.

  • Review and sign off on files, outputs and financial statements prior to final issue.

  • Provide expert technical guidance to team members and clients.

  • Work closely with existing clients to uncover new opportunities and offer value-added services.

  • Identify areas to cross-sell or promote additional firm offerings.

  • Ensure assignments are completed on time and within budget.

  • Support income tax compliance including accounts prep, Form 11 submissions and client liaison.

  • Play a key role in staff development, training and performance reviews.

  • Collaborate with the management team to drive business development and help grow the client base.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Qualified ACA (or equivalent), with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in practice.

  • Strong working knowledge of FRS 102 and tax compliance across key heads: Corporation Tax, PAYE, VAT.

  • Experience managing both clients and internal teams.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Bright) and Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with multi-entity clients.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and growing organisation.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • Familiarity with company secretarial compliance.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary: €60,000 – €70,000 (commensurate with experience)

  • Annual bonus scheme based on performance

  • Flexible working hours and option for hybrid working

  • Additional annual leave after 2 years’ service

  • Pension contribution

  • Professional development support, including paid CPD and memberships

  • Regular team events and a collaborative office culture

  • Genuine progression opportunities as the firm continues to grow

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who’s ready to make a real impact within a friendly, supportive firm. If you’re ready for a new challenge, we’d love to hear from you. – Katie Garvey
