A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a qualified Financial Accountant to join a well-established Civil & Structural Consultancy in South Dublin. With 70 years of experience, this firm has played a key role in designing new buildings, data centres, and various structural projects across Ireland and Europe, working with both public and private sector clients. As the Financial Accountant, you’ll be responsible for managing the company’s financial operations while working closely with the management team and accounting staff. Your key responsibilities will include financial reporting, preparing management accounts, and overseeing the annual audit process.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and management accounts.

Develop and maintain project-based budgets and financial forecasts.

Assist in estimating work in progress and earned value on projects.

Ensure full compliance with PAYE, VAT, and Corporation Tax regulations.

Prepare annual accounts for audit.

Work with Sage Line 50 and Sage Quickpay payroll software.

Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.

Prepare and issue project fees to clients as required.
Requirements

Qualified Accountant with 8+ years’ experience in financial management.

Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.

Proven experience in financial reporting and tax compliance.

Familiarity with Sage Line 50, payroll systems, and document management tools.

Excellent attention to detail.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
