A progressive Chartered Accountancy firm in Dublin City Centre is seeking an ambitious Director to join their Audit & Accounts team. Reporting to the Partners, this role offers challenging projects, and a supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients (turnovers up to €10m+), advising on financial controls, management accounts, due diligence, and operational structures.
- Oversee the preparation and review of management and statutory accounts.
- Ensure compliance with company secretarial requirements.
- Lead the rollout of new accounting technologies and AI-based tools.
- Drive team performance, including fee management, WIP monitoring, and cash collection.
- Coach, mentor, and appraise staff.
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualified with 5+ years in practice.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in financial/management accounts.
- Proven leadership, time management, and communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and client-focused problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
- Ability to implement AI-driven accounting solutions.
