Our client is a well-established and expanding Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Limerick. This position is ideal for an experienced Audit Senior who enjoys managing a varied client portfolio, mentoring junior staff, and gaining exposure to a broad range of sectors within a practice recognised for its quality, professionalism, and collaborative culture.
As an Audit Senior, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, managing, and leading audits for a diverse portfolio of SME and corporate clients.
- Supervising, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior team members.
- Preparing statutory financial statements and assisting with regulatory submissions.
- Overseeing monthly and quarterly management accounts and reconciliations.
- Reviewing cash flow, managing supplier payments, and performing overhead analysis.
- Building strong client relationships and providing meaningful financial insights and recommendations.
- Supporting senior management with ad-hoc projects and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with a minimum of 1 year’s post-qualification experience.
- Previous experience in a practice environment, with a particular focus on audit, is essential.
- Strong technical knowledge across audit, accounting, and compliance.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships efficiently.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team.
