GPC Finance is collaborating with a well-established mid-tier firm of accountants and business advisors to find an experienced Audit Senior to join their dynamic team. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients spanning various sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Take charge of leading audit assignments across different sectors.
- Effectively plan audit assignments and brief team members on specific risks associated with each assignment.
- Prepare high-quality financial statements and audit reports, providing practical recommendations to address risk issues and strengthen controls.
- Skilfully manage multiple audit assignments
- Foster strong working relationships with client staff from various disciplines to streamline the audit process.
- Deliver audit assignments to a high standard
- Adhere to the firm’s policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Guide and mentor junior staff
Requirements:
- Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Thorough understanding of risk, Irish GAAP, FRS102, and awareness of current issues.
- Proficiency in audit strategies, Terms of Engagement, FRS102, Irish and UK GAAP, and CA2014.
- Capability to work with diverse clients across multiple sectors.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary range: €48,000 – €56,000
