GPC Finance is delighted to partner with a Top 10 Accounting and Auditing Firm based in Dublin city centre. Due to continued growth our client is looking to hire a Qualified Audit Senior. In this role you will be a key player in business transformation. Our client has a large portfolio of clients that cover a large industry base. This role entails comprehensive oversight of audit activities, team management, client interaction, and effective communication with stakeholders. It’s a demanding position that requires a strong set of skills and a high level of responsibility to ensure the successful completion of audit assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Audit Stages: The individual will be responsible for all stages of audits, including planning, execution, and completion. This means they will be involved in preparing audit plans, conducting the audit fieldwork, and finalizing the audit reports.
- Team Coordination: The person will be in charge of coordinating and supervising teams of up to 3 members who will be working on different audit assignments. This involves providing guidance, assigning tasks, and ensuring that the team works efficiently and effectively.
- Client Communication: As the main point of contact during onsite audit fieldwork, the individual will be responsible for communicating with clients, managing their expectations, and addressing any concerns or inquiries they may have.
- Communication with Management: The person will need to maintain effective communication with management and partners to update them on the progress and status of various audits. Keeping stakeholders informed is crucial for successful audit management.
- Versatility: The role will involve working across a wide range of audit assignments, likely in different industries or sectors. Flexibility and adaptability are important to handle various audit challenges.
- Budget Adherence: It is essential for the individual to adhere to audit budgets and ensure that the audit assignments are conducted efficiently without exceeding the allocated resources.
Requirements:
- A Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
- 3 – 4 years previous experience working in Audit.
- Strong technical knowledge and strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and client service ethos.
- Adaptable to change.
- Previous experience working with MS office (essential) and CaseWare (preferable).
- Good leadership and delegation skills.
