GPC Finance in partnership with a Chartered Accountancy and Taxation firm based in South Co. Dublin. Our client due to organic growth are seeking an experienced Audit Senior with a proven track record to join our team. The successful candidate should have at least 3 years of post-qualification experience as a Senior Accountant and hold a qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA with a minimum of 1-year post-qualification experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare statutory accounts from source documentation.
- Possess a strong understanding of audit procedures and prepare a comprehensive audit file for review by senior management.
- Prepare various tax returns (income tax, corporation tax, capital gains tax, capital acquisitions tax, etc.) for review by senior management.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of VAT, particularly in relation to global and intra-EU transactions.
- Review work completed by trainees and provide feedback.
- Manage deadlines and workflows for oneself and trainee staff.
- Possess a strong knowledge of financial reporting rules, specifically FRS 102.
Requirements:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA with a minimum of 1-year post-qualification experience.
