Our client, one of Ireland’s most respected and fastest-growing accountancy practices, is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their progressive and collaborative team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in the audit process while working closely with a diverse client portfolio.
In this role, you’ll work directly with clients to deliver expert audit services, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with senior management to ensure high-quality outcomes. The firm offers a culture that values professional growth, innovation, and work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and execute audits from inception to completion.
- Liaise directly with clients to gather information, address queries, and provide tailored advice.
- Identify and resolve audit issues, delivering clear recommendations and solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports, outlining findings and suggested corrective actions.
- Work closely with directors and partners, gaining hands-on experience in the audit process.
- Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to their ongoing development.
Requirements
- Qualified or Part-Qualified ACA / ACCA / CPA.
- Minimum of 2 years’ practice experience in the Irish market, with a strong background in audit and accounts preparation.
- Experience working across a range of industries is advantageous.
- Strong technical knowledge of audit processes and methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: €58,000 – €68,000 (DOE)
- Annual bonus of up to 10%
