GPC Finance are delighted to recruit for an Audit Senior on behalf of our client an independent chartered accountancy, taxation and business advisory practice. This role will report to Audit Managers and direct to the Audit Partners. My client are looking for their Audit Senior to be meticulous and analytical, and with a deep knowledge of auditing practices. Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee the auditing process.
- Allocate responsibilities to junior and staff auditors and review team members’ work for accuracy and compliance.
- Perform effective risk and control assessments.
- Complete audits on time and submit reports / files to audit manager.
- Present audit findings and find ways to increase compliance and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Newly qualified ACA or ACCA
- Minimum 1 year PQE
- Proven experience as an auditor
- In-depth understanding of auditing and control practices
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
