Our client, a long-established and highly respected accountancy practice based in North Dublin, is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with a minimum of two years’ Irish practice experience who is looking to progress their career as an Audit Senior within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Working with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries, the successful Audit Senior will gain exposure to a wide range of high-quality audit assignments while benefiting from ongoing training, professional development, and excellent career progression opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage audit assignments for a varied portfolio of SME and corporate clients, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Liaise directly with clients, handling queries and providing practical support throughout the audit process.
• Review financial information, identify potential risks, and highlight opportunities to improve client systems and internal controls.
• Support and supervise junior team members while ensuring audit files are completed accurately and in line with relevant accounting and auditing standards.

Requirements:

• ACA or ACCA-qualified Chartered Accountant.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in an Irish practice-based audit role.
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage deadlines, multiple assignments, and strong client relationships.

Salary & Benefits:

• Competitive salary of €55,000 – €65,000, depending on experience.
