Our client, a well-established and highly respected accountancy practice based in Athlone, is seeking a motivated Semi-Senior Auditor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant with at least 1–2 years’ Irish practice experience who is keen to advance their audit career in a supportive and progressive environment. As a Semi-Senior Auditor, you will gain exposure to a diverse client base across multiple industries, working on varied audit assignments and developing your professional expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the planning, execution, and completion of audits for SME and corporate clients.
- Preparing audit documentation and working papers in line with professional standards.
- Collaborating with senior team members and learning from their guidance.
- Building positive client relationships, handling queries, and providing practical support.
Requirements
- Part-qualified ACA or ACCA accountant (or equivalent).
- 1–2 years’ audit experience within a practice environment.
- Good technical knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience with CaseWare (or similar audit software) is an advantage.
