Our client is seeking an experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join their growing team. the successful Audit and Accounts Senior will work along side the partners and senior manager on audit files. the successful Audit and accounts senior will work on clients from multiple industries including chartities, hospitality and pharma.
Role:
- Take charge of overseeing audit assignments across a range of sectors.
- Thoroughly strategize and prepare for audit tasks, ensuring that the team is well-informed about assignment-specific risks.
- Compose precise financial statements and audit reports of exceptional quality, accompanied by actionable suggestions for mitigating risks and strengthening controls.
- Effectively handle multiple audit assignments simultaneously, making the most efficient use of time and resources.
- Establish productive working relationships with personnel from various client departments to streamline the audit process.
- Keep the Partner informed about any significant issues pertaining to the ongoing work.
- Execute audit assignments to a superior standard, adhering to both regulatory requirements and designated timelines.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Understanding of risk, Irish GAAP, FRS102, and CA2014, and awareness of current issues.
- Knowledge of audit strategies, Terms of Engagement, FRS102, Irish and UK GAAP, and CA2014.
- Ability to work with diverse clients across multiple sectors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
