A well‑established Dublin accountancy practice is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join its growing tax department. This is a key role within the Tax Compliance and Advisory team, offering the opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors while contributing to the development of junior staff and supporting the delivery of high‑quality tax services.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of tax compliance engagements across a diverse client base.
- Review tax computations and filings prepared by junior team members, ensuring accuracy and technical quality.
- Support the development and implementation of tax planning strategies and advisory projects.
- Assist with workflow management, resource allocation, and meeting departmental deadlines.
- Attend and contribute to client meetings, providing clear and informed tax insights.
- Act as a point of contact for client queries, building strong and trusted relationships.
Requirements
- Part‑qualified or newly qualified ACCA/ACA, with progress toward CTA considered a strong advantage.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Irish practice, ideally with exposure to both compliance and advisory work.
- Strong technical tax knowledge with the ability to identify planning opportunities and add value to client engagements.
- Proven organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple assignments.
- Demonstrated initiative, motivation, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
- Experience mentoring or reviewing the work of junior colleagues is beneficial.
