Our client, a well-established and growing accountancy and advisory practice, is seeking an experienced Audit Associate Director to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior audit professional to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio, lead high-performing teams, and contribute to the continued growth of the firm. Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee a portfolio of audit engagements, ensuring assignments are delivered to a high professional standard, on time and within budget.
  • Manage client relationships, act as a trusted advisor, and identify opportunities to provide additional services and support business development initiatives.
  • Review audit files, statutory financial statements, and client deliverables, ensuring compliance with auditing, accounting, and regulatory standards.
  • Mentor and develop audit managers and teams, providing technical guidance, performance feedback, and support for ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification, supported by a relevant degree.
  • Minimum 4+ years’ post-qualification audit experience within an Irish practice environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Irish auditing and accounting standards, with experience reviewing and finalising complex audit engagements.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships, lead teams, and deliver assignments effectively.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to provide practical business advice to clients.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, report-writing, organisational, and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting and guiding junior team members.
  • Experience managing multiple deadlines and performing effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary & Benefits:
