Our client is a leading professional services firm with a strong presence across Ireland and an international network. Due to continued growth and expansion within its Tax Department, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Manager to join a high-performing Corporate Tax team.
Working closely with Partners and senior leadership, you will play a key role in managing client relationships, developing team members, and delivering practical, commercially focused tax solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients. The client base includes both indigenous owner-managed businesses and internationally owned organisations across sectors such as technology, manufacturing, R&D, retail, distribution and transport.
You’ll join a collaborative and growing team that advises on a broad range of corporate tax matters and works with clients operating both domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of corporate tax clients while coordinating tax and advisory services across multiple service lines.
- Ensure corporate tax compliance obligations, including tax filings and payment deadlines, are met efficiently and accurately.
- Advise clients on business structures, international tax matters, transfer pricing and profit repatriation strategies.
- Work alongside Partners and senior stakeholders on a variety of tax advisory projects and business-focused solutions.
- Contribute to departmental and firm-wide performance objectives, including revenue generation, cash collection and business growth initiatives.
- Support the ongoing development and training of team members through coaching and mentorship.
- Participate in business development activities, networking opportunities and marketing initiatives.
- Review internal processes and contribute to continuous improvement within the tax function.
- Assist with resource planning and the management of engagement delivery across the team.
Requirements:
- AITI qualification together with a relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
- A minimum of two years’ experience operating at Manager level within a professional services environment.
- Strong corporate tax compliance experience, including exposure to large corporates and advisory projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Irish tax legislation, case law and relevant tax guidance.
- Experience managing client relationships and overseeing the delivery of complex tax assignments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and project management capabilities.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach to professional development and staying informed within an evolving tax landscape.
- Strong IT and systems skills.
Salary/ Benefits
- Competitive salary €85,000 – €95,000
- Performance-related bonus 10%
