Our client is a long-established and highly respected Chartered Accountancy practice based in North Dublin. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated Trainee Bookkeeper / Junior Practice Accountant to join their team. This opportunity would suit someone who has completed their Accounting Technician qualification or is currently studying towards ATI and is looking to build a long-term career within practice.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining client bookkeeping records, including bank reconciliations, debtor and creditor management.
- Preparing VAT, PAYE and Revenue compliance submissions.
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and year-end financial statements for audit-exempt clients.
- Supporting senior team members with client queries and day-to-day accounting requirements.
Requirements:
- Accounting Technician qualification completed, or currently studying towards ATI.
- Previous bookkeeping or accounts administration experience, ideally within practice.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Good working knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and develop a long-term career in accountancy practice.
Salary & Benefits:
