Our client, a respected and long-established boutique accountancy practice based in South Dublin, is seeking a Newly Qualified Audit & Accounts Senior to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified ACA or ACCA accountant who is looking to further develop their career within a supportive and progressive practice environment. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a diverse range of audit, accounts preparation, tax compliance, and client advisory assignments, working closely with SME and owner-managed business clients across a variety of industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements for a portfolio of SME and corporate clients.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements, annual accounts, and monthly management accounts for a range of clients.
  • Support the preparation and submission of VAT, Corporation Tax, and Income Tax returns, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a professional point of contact for day-to-day queries.
  • Work closely with managers and partners to deliver high-quality accounting, audit, and advisory services.
  • Contribute to client projects and identify opportunities to add value through proactive support and guidance.

Key Requirements

  • ACA or ACCA qualified, or recently qualified.
  • Minimum of 1 year’s post-qualification experience within an accountancy practice environment.
  • Experience assisting with audit assignments and accounts preparation.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and auditing principles.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Experience using CaseWare or similar accounting software would be an advantage.
