Our client, a progressive and growing accountancy practice located in Cork, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Senior Accountant to take ownership of a varied client portfolio while playing a key role in supporting junior staff and contributing to the continued growth of the firm. The ideal Senior Accountant will possess strong technical accounting expertise, excellent communication skills, and a client-focused approach. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review statutory Financial Statements in line with regulatory requirements and CRO deadlines.
- Complete accounts preparation assignments for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Oversee a diverse portfolio of SME clients, ensuring an efficient and professional service is delivered.
- Develop strong client relationships and provide practical accounting and business advice as a trusted Senior Accountant.
Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience within an accountancy practice environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience managing client relationships.
- Ability to supervise, mentor, and support junior team members while maintaining high-quality standards.
