Senior Accountant
Our client, a well-established accounting practice based in Kildare, is looking to recruit a talented Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant seeking a varied role within a supportive and professional environment. The successful Senior Accountant will have strong accounts preparation experience and the ability to guide, mentor, and support junior team members while managing a diverse client portfolio. This Senior Accountant position offers exposure to a broad range of clients and excellent career progression opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare statutory Financial Statements for submission to the Companies Registration Office (CRO).
- Prepare and finalise sole trader and partnership accounts, ensuring compliance with Revenue requirements.
- Manage a portfolio of SME clients across a range of industries, delivering high-quality accounting services.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients, providing guidance on day-to-day business and financial matters.
Requirements:
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent) with 3+ years’ post-qualification experience in practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Proven experience managing client portfolios and delivering a high standard of service as a Senior Accountant.
- Previous experience mentoring, supporting, and reviewing the work of junior team members is highly desirable.
