Tax Senior
Our client, a well-established and highly respected medium-sized accountancy practice based in North Dublin, is looking to hire an experienced Tax Senior to join their expanding tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to develop their career as a Tax Senior within a supportive, professional, and progressive environment.
The successful Tax Senior will work across both Tax Compliance and Tax Advisory, managing a varied portfolio of clients across a broad range of industries. You will work closely with experienced Tax Partners and Managers while gaining valuable exposure to a wide range of tax matters and client situations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the tax compliance requirements of a diverse portfolio of Income Tax and Corporation Tax clients.
- Provide compliance and advisory services across a range of tax heads, including Capital Gains Tax, Capital Acquisitions Tax, VAT, and Relevant Contracts Tax.
- Work closely with Tax Partners and Managers, building your technical expertise while providing high-quality advice and support to clients.
- Develop strong client relationships, manage Revenue queries and tax registrations, and contribute to the continued growth of the tax department.
Requirements:
- ACCA, ACA, or CTA qualified, with CTA qualification desirable but not essential.
- Minimum of one year’s post-qualification experience within an Irish accountancy practice.
- Strong technical tax knowledge with the ability to identify value-added opportunities and provide practical solutions for clients.
- Proactive and commercially minded, with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive salary of €60,000 – €70,000, depending on experience.
