Our client is a well-established and growing Dublin accountancy practice that prides itself on delivering high-quality client service in a collaborative and supportive environment. We are seeking to appoint a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious qualified accountant looking to take ownership of a varied client portfolio while progressing their career within a people-focused practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients, preparing accounts and financial statements and delivering assignments on time and within budget.
- Build strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and providing practical accounting solutions.
- Collaborate with internal tax teams, including the preparation of draft tax computations and support on client matters.
- Supervise and mentor trainee team members while overseeing day-to-day client administration and compliance activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA).
- Minimum 1+ years’ post-qualification experience in a practice environment.
- Experience preparing accounts and financial statements for a range of clients.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software and cloud-based accounting systems.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Client-focused approach with strong problem-solving abilities and commercial awareness.
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members is advantageous.
Salary & Benefits
- €55,000 – €65,000 DOE.
- Hybrid working model with up to 2 days working from home per week.
